I like to play the piano, and while I’m still a feeble beginner I’m proud enough to cobble together a page listing my repertoire and the things I’m learning. Sometimes I forget what I’ve learned, or what I want to learn, so this just helps me remember.
Things I can play well enough:
- La Donna e mobile (from Rigoletto) – Giuseppe Verdi (YouTube)
- Habanera (from Carmen) – Georges Bizet (YouTube)
- The Pink Panther Theme – Henri Mancini (YouTube)
- Praan (from Where the Hell is Matt?) – Gary Schyman (YouTube)
- Macgyver Theme – Randy Edelman (Sheet & Midi YouTube)
- Truman Sleeps (from The Truman Show) – Philip Glass
- Pachebel’s Canon in D (Canon Fantasy arrangement by Lee Galloway) (YouTube)
Things I can play that need a little work:
- My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean
Things I want to play (extremely truncated):
- Still Alive (from Portal) – Jonathan Coulton
- Hoppipolla – Sigur Ros
- Baba Yetu (from Civ4) – Christopher Tin
- Chariots of Fire – VANGELIS
- Gone But Not Forgotten – Rick Wakeman
